[Remmina-common] GTK3 branch causes unusable preferences dialog

I am using the GTK3 branch of Remmina, on a KDE desktop with the oxygen-gtk
engine installed.

This produces a very bad result:

its not any better with the default gtk3 theme

What happened here, and what can I do to fix it?

using gtk+ 3.12.2 on Sabayon, (aka binary gentoo with some defaults set)

GTK+ was compiled on 01:55:52 PM 06/09/2014 with USE=(X cups introspection
xinerama -aqua -cloudprint -colord -debug -examples -test -vim-syntax
-wayland)

Any help would be appreciated; i cannot create new servers or edit existing
ones any longer -- although clipboard redirection works once again!

Current remmina git version is 5b16f396318f383712fdd2c6d7a2bfac60a37097
compiled minutes ago.
