I'm not talking about remmina license, when you connect to a Windows 2003
server via RDP the server assigns a temporary license to the client that
expires after 90 days. It's a windows stuff not remmina's one.
You have got to buy windows terminal clients license (CAL) to get a
never-expires connection but on a windows client there's a trick to bypass
this control removing a regedit voice. I wanna know if there's a similar
technique with remmina.
I presume that when Remmina connetc to server via RDP it sends some
information like PC-Name, IP address or something else. If you chage some
information on client the server doesn't recognize the client and assigns a
new 90 day license. So every 3 month simply by deleting a regedit voice I
have another 3 motnh of RDPlicense with windows-client. With Remmina instead
the windows server says to me, when I connect, that my license will expires
between 7 days. I'm traying to bypass this control with remmina.
