#13 Some characters lost in import

When you import data from a import.txt or import.remx
file and the import.txt or import.remx file contains
characters that have accents (ascii characters 192 and
up) these characters are converted to question marks.

I don't see anything in the code that might be an
apparent cause of this behaviour.

I have no idea what to do about this. If anyone would like
to give this a shoot and see if they can fix it that would
be most helpful.
