#26 Save after typing prentheses alters expression paretheses

^(-?(\d+)?\.\d+)$

In the above expression, if I remove and re-type the right-
most parenthesis, followed by clicking the save icon,
the right-most parenthesis get removed from the
expression.

If I repeat the same steps, but focus on another window
before clicking the save icon, the expression does not
get altered.

I'm using version 2.0.3.0 beta

When pressing the save button, the last action (editor) is
undone.

so typing a char, and save => the letter is deleted
deleting a char, and save => the letter is restored again
