Just tried this program, and as soon as I start it (prior to the main window being displayed, even) am getting the following error:
/----------
FindChild failed in ExpandToBranch. This is a symptom that Reg has lost synchronization with the Registry. Please restart the program.
\----------
The error-message dialog (screenshot attached) also includes a note that I should ensure that I have proper (admin level) permissions. I am currently running as a member of the Administrators group, so should be all set there.
Running Windows XP SP2, with all up-to-date patches.
Any way I can get you more information as to the nature of this error? Any way to turn on debug-level tracing? Would a user-mode dump of this process be helpful?

Just noticed a Forum post from a week or so ago:

Yeah, sorry. Others have reported that as well - definitely a bug. I'll try to have it fixed soon. In the mean time ... If you let the application run, select a key, then restart, the error will go away. Thank you for reporting the error.

Looks like it's already a known issue, sorry for not reading the forums first.
I am also seeing this issue. SP3 for XP I believe is my version. Thanks! Until it's fixed, I think this is a legitimate place to list this problem. :)
