So, I guess the question should be: Do you want to run refbase-0.8.0 or the CVS version? To "just make it work," you could probably either move the files to where refbase expects to find them or can update the database per where they actually are. > 2) the 'export' button works if I choose 'text' or 'file' for the =20 > output, but returns a: > Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_convert_encoding() in /=20 > user0/htdocs/papersDB/refbase-0.8.0/includes/include.inc.php on line =20 > 3693 > if I select HTML or email ( but the email does actually get delivered) You must be trying to use UTF-8, but without having multi-byte support enabled on your PHP server. PHP must be compiled with the '--enable-mbstring' configure option. So, again a few options: don't use UTF-8, or get your admin to install what is needed for UTF-8 support. (Since it often works, I guess you can also disable the printing of warnings, but this isn't a very good solution!) > 3) RSS link: >=20 > Warning: generateRSS() [function.include]: Failed opening 'cite/=20 > styles/cite_PolarBiol_MarBiol_MEPS.php' for inclusion =20 > (include_path=3D'.:/usr/local/php/lib/php') in /user0/htdocs/papersDB/ = > refbase-0.8.0/includes/include.inc.php on line 4046 >=20 > Fatal error: Call to undefined function citeRecord() in /user0/htdocs/ = > papersDB/refbase-0.8.0/includes/include.inc.php on line 4049 > this one mustbe just a clone of 1)...
