If I could remember are there two common possibilites with author fileds:
if they use "." and "," but not ";" -> more than one author but seperated with ","
if they use "." and "," and ";" common style for more than one author
In the common version the authors will be imported as:
Megan L. Wilson, M.J.B.K.F.S.K.T.L.M. instead
Maple;, M.L.W.; Meredith J. Bashaw; Kimberly Fountain; Sarah Kieschnick; Terry L. (its better but bith minor errors)
Do you think a used or not used ";" detection would work or does it cause more problems?

The Interscience "Endnote" format is broken. For the Endnote tagged text format[*], each author should be given on its own line, like:
%A Ortolani, Alessia
%A Leong, Kirsten
%A Graham, Laura
%A Savage, Anne
or like this:
%A Alessia Ortolani
%A Kirsten Leong
%A Laura Graham
%A Anne Savage
refbase/Bibutils can import both of these.
It's frustrating that so many publishers get this wrong and I wonder whether they actually care about their customers. Anyways, it's always a good idea to inform them about these issues.
for your information.
Intercience offers only Endnote export, but the authtosr are wrong after import.
