Hello,
I was running Redo Backup and Recovery no problem on my HP 6200 with an Intel 82579LM gigbit NIC but I am now trying to run it on our new HP 600G1 towers that have an Intel I217-LM NIC. When it boots into the Redo screen it shows NO NETWORK CONNECTION icon in lower right corner. What NIC drivers does the ISO i downloaded and burned come with? Do i need to inject more NIC drivers in order for it to be able to see the Intel I217-LM NIC? If so, I do i add drivers to make it work? Also, is there a list of NICs which Redo Backup and Recovery will have drivers for built in?
Thank you for any assistance.
Shawn

This is due to the old build of REDO.
I have made an updated build of REDO based of latest Ubuntu 12.04 with patches as of Aug 2014.
It works with my 217-V NIC
Check the other threads for details and URL for ISO

This worked great OAM775. I really appreciate your help. Why won't Redo put out their own updated version or are they planning to?
Thanks.
Hi Shawn, no idea as to the lack of updates.
I guess they have moved onto other things.
Make sure you used the latest iso. The first one was busted a little bit.
How was the speed of the backup?
OAM775,
I downloaded the one you had on this page https://sourceforge.net/p/redobackup/discussion/1169663/thread/4815d162/
and it seemed to work pretty good. Speed seemed fine to me.
Thanks again.
