I have a Win XP backup done in 2017 that I need to restore and I cannot get my existing Redo bootable USB containing some older version of Redo, or a fresh bootable USB containing the current version, to work. After seeing the welcome screen, things just freeze up when trying to do anything. Any thoughts welcome.

I may have solved this myself. Suspecting that the problem is due to the need for a 32-bit version of Redo, I downloaded and tried the Nov 21, 2012 Redo Backup version 1.0.4 (which is probably what I used for the 2017 backup) and this seems to be working (restore is in process now).
Later: Got "1 write error." Will try again.
Still later: Retried with Redo in Safe Mode, and restoration of Win XP was successful.
