Hello, I just installed the mylyn connector and the server side plugin as written in the installing instruction.
On the first attempt to connect I receive an error:
Server Error : undefined method `collect! for nil:NilClass
and it appear continuously on every sync (the default is 20 minutes). I can sync, add, update tasks on the redmine server on the server here at my side without problem. the only thing bugging me is that error message. I don't know anything about ruby and I don't know where to search for fix this thing. The error message is so generic...
Can you help me getting rid of this error message? thank you in advance.
PS: for what about concerning software versions.
the server is on a gentoo machine:
ruby 1.8.7
rails 2.3.5
redmine 1.1 from the website
the client is a ArchLinux machine:
eclipse 3.7.1
mylyn 3.6.3
mylyn connector redmine 0.3.4
Hi,
I had the same problem and I think I have the reason:
this happens on tickets which contains dependencies on tickets which are closed. Eg. this error occurs when you filter for open tickets only, and an open ticket has closed subtickets/todos and so on.
When disable filter on ticket status this error does not occur.
I have no idea how to fix the plugin 'cause ruby isn't my favorite programming language, but I think this should be done with high priority.
