Last night we (well, eikeon) released version 1.5.1 of Redfoot. This is our next step towards a new stable version 1.6.0 (remember the minor number, as with the Linux kernel, is odd for development, even for stable) As well as more documentation, updated examples and continued architectural clean up, the big addition is a console interface to Redfoot. At present this console enables you to add, remove and visit triples in a rednode's triple store, bring up and down the HTTP server, and add applications (whether written in redcode or python) to the server. In the near future (within the 1.5.x series) it will be possible to perform more complex queries at the command line and so many uses of Redfoot will not involve the use of the HTTP server at all. Priorities for subsequent 1.5.x releases include a new rdf.syntax package updated for the latest draft specs from the W3C as well as more in the way of p2p functionality. http://redfoot.sourceforge.net/ Download, enjoy and continue the feedback!
