Hi Bruce,
I have a problem I need help with I have installed Record Editor and I believe this program is my only hope in recovering data to csv or excel spreadsheet hopefully. We did a HD data recovery and we have an inventory file RM Cobol ver 1 or 2 prior to cobol85 indexed file "inmast.inx" and the file definition file called "finmst" which contains the field size layout. when I attempt to read the file using record editor I get some text with mixture of graphic characters there are some comp-3 so I tried fixed binary whith no luck so far. Do you have any suggestions, Thanks, Wiliam.

RecordEditor does not support RM cobol files, the only solution is a commercial package or cobol
