It's a feature, not a bug. ;-) I found a number of *very* serious bugs in IDEPolledRead() in atapi.c and ide.sys. After fixing most of them I'm able to identify EIDE harddisks and ATAPI cdrom/dvd drives. I'm working on the remaining bug with the ATA-5 spec 'in my hands'.
