I am currently using reacTIVision for an interactive installation running Linux and have problems with the software freezing after periods of inactivity. After some time of inactivity the computer freeze completely and I have to do a hard reboot.
I have tested under different versions of Ubuntu and Linux Mint using both reacTIVision 1.4 and 1.5.1. My main camera is a ELP-USBFHD01M-MF40 usb and I have also tested with a Logitec 9000 pro.
Is this a known bug under Linux? There is no error messages in the terminal or system logs.

Hi Gisle, I didn't notice such a thing before,
but did you check the problem at the system level,
turning off all possible sleep and hibernation options?

Hi Martin, thanks for your quick response.
All sleep and hibernation options are turned of, so that should not be the problem. I am now testing on different machines to see if it might be a hardware problem. I was running it on an Asus EeeBox PC with a hybrid graphic card that still don't work well with Linux drivers. I suspect this might be causing some trouble. Will keep you posted..
