Category: keyboard Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Robajz (robajz) Assigned to: Peter à strand (astrand) Summary: czech qwerty keymap patch Initial Comment: Hello, regarding https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1401301&group_id=24366&atid=381349 My keymap is better because it is working :) We have got a number of (czech) keyboard layouts. I am a programmer so I prefer the one where I can write ÄÅ¡ÄÅž and @#$%^ with no need to switch keyboard layouts. It is the one I select in KDE cz_qwerty with latin variant and the one that is in windows - Czech (QWERTY). This keymap produces no errors. It does not provide full set of keys as on local linux/windows box, but does the best for remote access. At the bottom of this page http://ufal.mff.cuni.cz/pdt/Support/czech-info.html there is a table showing the standard czech keyb-layout. In addition en layout letters like @#$%^&*{ may be accessed thru the altgr modificator. A user needs to have cz_qwerty with latin variant in X and czech (QWERTY) layout on remote host to enjoy this map. I'll try to submit a patch :) but realy... I'm not good at it. May be a good idea would be to have both old simple cs layout and the new cz-qwerty and let the user choose? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=381349&aid=1480445&group_id=24366 |
