Is the HP Laserjet 4050 driver on the remote Windows server? Check the event log on the server. If the Windows driver isn't installed, it won't print. -----Original Message----- From: rde...@li... [mailto:rde...@li...] On Behalf Of Steve Morgan Sent: 02 January 2007 16:48 To: rde...@li... Subject: [rdesktop-users] printing with 1.5 Advance apologies if this is a simple question. I am running Core 6 and connecting to a Windows 2003 server. Everything, but printing works. I cannot print to my local printer from the remote application. This is true whether the printer is local or networked. Right now the printer is networked. I have tried the following commands: # rdesktop -r printer:HP4050 my.remoteserver.com # rdesktop -r printer:HP4050=HP LaserJet 4050 my.remoteserver.com # rdesktop -r printer:HP4050[=HP LaserJet 4050] This is the only thing keeping me from a 100% Linux client environment.
