All, I have looked at the rdesktop source and where it is heading. I would like to be able to compile the latest version of rdesktop for say nano-x or some other graphic interface. But it appears to me that rdesktop is heaverly dependant on X. I'm capable of doing the work would anybody find it useful if I was to split the keyboard, mouse, and display drivers out from the rdesktop source and created a function call drive interface to the main rdesktop application. This way you could run rdesktop on a Linux box without X making it more embeddedable. I would be happy to do the work and submit a patch but I was just wondering if any body else would find this useful? Regards, Rod Boyce |
