Linux version : Ubuntu 10.04
Rdesktop version : 1.6.0
Remote connection to a Windows 2008 server R2 (terminal server role)
Steps to reproduce the problem :
1. load an usb pen drive (or an hard disk) into linux
2. connect to rdesktop
3. I can see under \\tsclient\media all my linux loaded drives or usb keys, and navigate and read files inside.
4. Try to write from windows to the mapped disks
If i write on the root (\\tsclient\media) i'm only warned that i have no permission to write
If i write inside a single disk i'm warned in a similar way, but after i can't read anymore on the disks through windows.
If i repeat these steps with a connection to a windows 2003 server (same client and same domain user) , no error appears, and everything works fine.
This is fixed in commit r1604.
You can write but there is a still an issue with this:
rightclick create new folder does not appear as an alternative
when trying this on the mounted drive, still you can drag & drop files
to the folder with success.
This behaviour with context menu appears also using the
MS Remote Desktop client, so lets close the bug again.
