No

I've been been running an agency and sometimes, my partners end up on Vipul's radar. The moderators are usually kind enough to not only reset the fingerprint, but also giving an idea if they were hitting spam traps or getting spam reported.

Recently, I found out that SMS is tied to a domain, as one of my partners domain was in SMS spam. I'd like to remedy this and prevent this in the future, but i'm realizing there's next to no information on this that i'm able to fish up myself. Can someone help me? is there an article, handbook, or something that breaks everything down?

Thank you!

    Dear David

    Thank you for contacting Cloudmark.

Short answer there is no such document.

If your sending SMS and its being detected and blocked by technology used by a mobile operator, then you need to reach out to that operator to identify why you are being blocked.

There could be many reasons, its not going to be possible to see if content is the cause from your side.

    Regards,

Perhaps I can explain the situation.

I'm aware of domains getting blacklisted for spam through hitting spamtraps or a lot of complaints. One of my client's hit Razor2 when we did an email test. The support who looked into it said they fell into SMS spam. I'm not sure of the perameters of how a domain enters SMS spam. I know they were sending SMS's, but how did it get tied to the domain?

I would just like to avoid any of this in the future.

      Hello,

The domain was most likely in the body of the SMS that was reported as spam.

      Thanks,
