Hi, guys... I bought Surrey 3D face database XM2VTS (CDS005) . Several issues:

1) The database is in VRML 1.0 format, which is seriously old. Anyway, I managed to change all the .wrl files to VRM97 already.

2) In the database, 3D "Coordinate" is between -1 and 1, I really don't know how to scale it back the the real size. The 2D images for texture rendering is 512*512, so, I can imagine those values within -1 and 1 should be scaled by 512 respectively, in X and Y directions, But, how about Z(the depth direction)?

3) To display those faces in 3D is not the aim. The task is to test 3D AAM or 3D Morphable Models. However, the faces in the database have difference numbers of coordinates, which is due to different face size. However, this brings a difficult problem to handle, that is: " How to make the number of coordinates (length of the shape) uniform for all the faces. " ?

4) Therefore, finally, can I ask whether Surrey annotated some 3D key points for this database XM2VTS (CDS005) ? Since I bought XM2VTS (CDS005), I'm not sure whether I can obtain those annotated points information ?

Really urgent...

Best Regards
