If you've checked out the RAVL source from cvs, you can just do a 'cvs update' in the RAVL tree and re run the installation script. If you haven't deleted the temporary files, it will just recompile the code affected by the change.

Is there an easy way to up-to-date Ravl installation after downloading last version from CVS. It seems it is not a good idea to recompile everything.
