I answered my own question. :) I found the "export" command within TortoiseCVS which grabs a copy = without the control files and dirs.=20 During the checkout you are presented with a dialog. Take the Options = tab and select "Export - for making a release" option within "Purpose of checkout" -----Original Message----- From: rai...@li... Subject: [Rainbowportal-devel] TortoiseCVS - Making a snapshot I am using TortoiseCVS and was curious what others do to make a snapshot = of what is in CVS to do test setups with. I tried to see if TortoiseCVS had a way to remove the CVS control directories it uses when you get a copy from source forge but didn't see = to find that as an option. I have been removing the CVS dirs and other cvs specific files manually = to remove the "overlays" TortoiseCVS does when you get a copy from CVS and = that seems to work. Curious what others do when working with the source in this respect. I guess having the tarball working would be a way to do this but working with the latest from CVS is nice.
