Rimpoche - 2012-10-24

Did a fresh install of Ubuntu Server 12.04.1 on a single disk (guided partitioning, use whole disk), 500GB disk. System boots fine. Tried Raider to convert this to a RAID6 system with other 3 500GB disks (same make). Failed already in initial run with:

sudo raider -R6 sda sdb sdc sdd
