[Radmind-users] strategies for managing Symantec with radmind

How do you all deal with Symantec AntiVirus being set to auto-update  
with radmind?

Do you leave it out of transcripts, and script installing it instead,  
setting up negatives to ignore Symantec files?

Manage it all with radmind, including virus defs?

Manage the application with radmind and use rsync or the LiveUpdate  
server to manage virus defs?

I'm finding this a little bit more painful than it probably should  
be... and am thinking I'm looking at this the wrong way.
