Hello:

I would like radmind support managing portable hard disks like an iPod or FireWire drive, that might or might not be attached when radmind is running.

This would give the ability to manage portable disks that our mounted on a station, but not display errors or prevent radmind when the portable disk is not mounted.

Can you describe why you want this?

So, I could manage a machine, if it has a portable drive attached and mounted it would manage it. Else, it still manages the rest machine file system without errors. So, conditional support for a path exists manage it, else ignore any transcript lines with that base path. This would give me the ability to manage portable drives, iPods, etc. from managed machines. We checkout iPods & portable drives and having this functionality we greatly simplify management of these devices file systems, remove items added or modified and add items missing or updated.
