#47 Representing different equipment in front vs. rear of cab?

It's often the case that you have different pieces of equipment in the front of the cabinet versus the rear of the cabinet at the same rack position, such as a shallow-depth terminal server in the front and a PDU in the rear. How might that be represented in RM? All I can think is that you make a different "rack" for each (front and rear) but I was wondering how others have addressed this.

    Thank you for your query, I'm afraid that you are correct. The only way to represent the front and back of a rack in RackMonkey is to use two racks.

    I am working on adding more flexible racks in RackMonkey 1.3, including 1.5U devices, blades and front/back of racks.
