I agree that values assigned at the command line should precede settings 
in qwtconfig.pri.

But this is something that should be possible for all variables - not 
for QWT_INSTALL_PREFIX only.

I would like to avoid a confusing qwtconfig.pri because of cryptic qmake 
syntax - so I don't know yet what the best solution will be.
