I got build failed on qt 5.5 angle based becasue of lack ifdef macro tag in qwt_canvas . It seems that the code in current svn trunk only compile fine fir opengl based.
If this bug is not related to https://sourceforge.net/p/qwt/bugs/250/ you need to be more specific about what goes wrong ( at least adding the out put of the compiler ).
From this report I don't even know which file of which version doesn't compile.
