thanks for the tip. Not sure if this is the reason, as I didn't build
for doubles. My scons options were:

useOSC=1 buildPythonOpcodes=1 dynamicCsoundLibrary=1 buildTclcsound=1
buildVirtual=1 buildInterfaces=1 buildLuaWrapper=1 buildPythonWrapper=1
buildJavaWrapper=1 useDouble=0 (I added the latter right now for being
sure it's correct)

When I run Csound, the message is:
Csound version 5.12 beta (float samples) Dec 29 2010

On the other hand, the libraries in /usr/local/lib are older than the
last build. Shall I remove them before building again? Or is there
something wrong with the scons options?
