#23 Copy to Assign Keys

When taking notes on a specific topic certain
specific words or phrases will come up regularly. I
would like to see if it were possible to record a
word or text to a location on the layout.
i.e. Instead of having to go into X-Master and
editing the key assignments, I could select some
text, tap a "record" key defined on the QuickType
keyboard and then perform the tap or stroke I want
to allocate it to. I could for example have
selected "The major prophets" and allocate it to UL
of "T" by tapping record and doing a UL stroke
on "T". Quick Type would copy the selected text
and paste it ino the UL allocation of the key
selected. (It wouldn't matter that "I" knew it was
a "T" key)
