No

TV Shows and likely other things will have long
introductions that can skipped and not encoded, thus
giving more space for a higher bitrate encoding.

It'd be cool if the user could specify when to start
encoding and when to stop, or maybe skipping N seconds
at front and M at end. Whichever would be easier.
tcprobe seems to provide the length of the movie, the
user would be responsible for putting in the right times.

Or perhaps if it doesn't horribly complicate things,
present the user with a a picture of single frame when
they input a time to skip to. That way they can see if
it is correct.

Good work!

I'm not so sure about this one. I think dvd::rip allows you
to do this, and I want QuickRip to remain, for the moment,
as simple as possible. I'm split between constantly adding
all the features people want, and turning it into an easier
version of dvd::rip, and sticking to a basic DVD ripper, and
pointing advanced users to dvd::rip. I'll have to come back
to this one when 0.7 is out and I've got some time to think
about the direction I want to go in.
