Through Wine (http://www.winehq.org), QuickPlay is functional on Linux or Mac, except for some odd problems:

    1) Due to Wine's path creation of Z: for the home directories, you can have fiddle around with the emulator ROM path so that the path can translate through from the Wine path to the actual ROM path.

    2) Extraction of 7zip files doesn't seem to work properly. I'm getting "Archive not extracted". Not sure what's wrong with that.

    3) When selecting the emulator path, you must select "All Files" to find the full path to the emulator instead of just typing in the emulator name in the bin directory ("Z:\usr\games\fceu" instead of "fceu").

Other then that, it all seems to work!  It would be great if the 7zip extraction worked.....

You might want to take a look at Loemu [1], although it's not as great as QuickPlay it still is a nice multiemulator-frontend.
Would be far better to have QuickPlay ported to Linux, though. :)

Well, there's a new QuickPlay website, this one is getting phased out.

The new (test) site is operational now, its final launch will happen very soon (around November 15th 2008 probably)

Feel free to sign up now and start posting over there instead of here!

Rob, have you tried installing 7zip under Wine as well? I'm guessing if its in the same "container" as Quickplay it should work. I haven't set up Wine or Quickplay yet, but its worth a shot.
