For anyone on the list who hasn't been sent an invitation, quickfix is having a release party/developer meeting at it's Chicago headquarters to celebrate our release of QuickFIX version 1.0.0. Anyone who has an interest in implementing QuickFIX or learning more about QuickFIX, this is the best way to do it. Please RSVP if you are interested in attending. Thoughtworks Inc. in conjunction with Connamara Systems has spent the last few months working on the development of QuickFIX 1.0, an open source C++ FIX engine for Windows and Linux. We are extending a special invitation to a handful of individuals in the Chicago area to come to a developer meeting and learn about the QuickFIX product. This is going to be a developer specific meeting where we will be going through the architecture, our testing framework, our build process and current features. For those of you who attended the last meeting, there will be a lot more new information pertaining to the latest release. The session will conclude with a Q&A session and an opportunity for those interested to be involved in the evolution of the QuickFIX product.
