"Queue: Failed to submit job to queue 'now'"

    I'm trying to get GNU queue running across a small cluster, all the machine sin which are running RedHat 7.2. I managed to get it to compile, but I can't get it to do anything. Right now, I'm only testing it on one machine, not over the cluster.
    After I 'make install', I started queued. I think that went OK.
    But, if I try to do anything, I alwys get the error "Queue: Failed to submit job to queue 'now'"
    For instance, I tried to do a simple queue -- hostname, and I threw in the -v option, and this it what it says:
    "Requesting load average for queue 'now' on host "my hostname" ...
then:
    "Queue: Failed to submit job to queue 'now'"

    I'm pretty sure it's not a problem with the qhostsfile, because it says its looking for the correct host.
    Any ideas?

Forget about this - I got it to work by simply restarting queued.
I don't know why it worked or what I changed, but it did work.
