3DMF export

I was getting a -28292 (kQ3WarningTypeHasNotBeenRegistered) warning  
on trying to export a 3DMF file, and the resultant file contained  
zero bytes.  Eventually, I tried switching from kQ3FileModeText to  
kQ3FileModeNormal and it seems happy once more.  Are ASCII 3DMFs no  
longer supported?
