Which project?  Geom Test.xcode, which was just updated, or Geom  
Test.xcodeproj?  The latter is the one that should open in Xcode 2.1  
without conversion.

If you haven't subscribed to the CVS commits mailing list, note that  
there was just an update to Geom Test.c.
