As for any plug-in it's of no use if it's the only...

but if you use it for a bunch of variations of them the plug-in is 
better for both the developer and the user

I'd prefer the plug-ins from the parameters to avoid a switch statement 
for every line of GL code

and for the multiplication of Quesa code... disk are cheap today... >:-)
