Maybe you subscribed to the old list.  That has indeed been defunct 
ever since we moved over to SourceForge.

Anyway, yes, Quesa is very much alive (yours is the fifth message on 
this list just today!).

I haven't any insight on the specific problems you're seeing, though 
-- hopefully someone else can shed some light.
