Oops, I spoke too soon.  It compiles cleanly for Carbon, but 
E3Viewer.c does not compile in Classic targets.  It looks like I made 
this bug on Dec. 4, and fixed it on Dec. 11.  So maybe Jos=E9's 
original suggestion of Dec. 3 was right.
