I'm not so sure that is a reasonable minimum target, given that we've 
run into several things that were standard C++ as of 1998 but not 
supported by VC++ 6.  If no one that we know of actually needs to use 
VC++ 6 with Quesa, it seems like masochism to me.  Anyone else have 
an opinion?
