A new style would be a lot more work, and I'm not feeling quite that 
energetic. :-)  If a style were introduced later, the renderer blend 
setting could still be used as a default, i.e., if there is no active 
blend style, use the renderer's blend style (and of course, if 
neither exist, fall back to the QD3D-compatible defaults.)
