CVS error?

I'm trying to get back up to speed with CVS.  But trying to connect 
today (using the MacCVS Pro session file from the web site -- a very 
nice service BTW), I get the following error:

   :PserverBackend() Connect (Connection refused)

Does this mean anything to anyone?  Is it just a glitch at 
SourceForge, or am I doing something wrong?
