To reproduce:

- Load GeomTest.exe
- Open 'Windows Task Manager'
- Resize the GeomTest window repeatedly
- 'Commit Charge' value in the Windows Task Manager 
window increases by a few MB with each resize. This 
lost memory is only reclaimed on quitting GeomTest
