You should be aware that the Sketchup's import code does not work as well on Mac as it does on Windows. The textures on Windows have an Alpha channel whilst those on Mac do not, so you have to compromise to either import white as transparent or as white. I have found files that work only one way or the other but fortunately none, so far, with textures in a single file which need it both ways. I implemented the Sketchup to 3DMF conversion plug-in a while ago but I have not heard that there has been any improvement yet. Roger Holmes. |
