Hello,

There's no binary for Ubuntu 17.10. So I tried to install from the sources. Unfortunately the dependency octave-epstk is gone in 17.10. Is there a workaround? Or will there soon be a binary available for 17.10?

you can pass --disable-doc to configure to avoid (trying) to compile the docs. Ready-made PDFs for the docs can be found at https://sourceforge.net/projects/qucs/files/qucs-binary/0.0.19/

Thanks a lot, I have to try as soon as possible. For the moment I can stick to the Windows version.

Works like a charm, thank you. Still had to build and install ADMS as commented in https://stackoverflow.com/questions/36102809/qucs-core-configure-error-needs-admsxml (not mentioned in the readme, but it runs. In my opinion it would be worth the effort to get into the ubuntu 17.10 package list. Unfortunately I am not the guy to help here as the LINUX build environments are not my expertise and I do not have the time to get into it.
