Hello Luigi, at the moment there is no plan to add a solver using piecewise-linear models. Moreover, at present the transient simulation in Qucs is not very robust, as you will surely have noticed already. Also here there are some ideas for improvements but little time for the actual implementation. In the meantime a good solution could be to use a Qucs derivative, Qucs-S, which can use ngspice, Xyce or Spice Opus as simulation engines. The plan is to merge the functionality of Qucs-S (and more) to Qucs in the future.
