hi list, hello Michael! i have a suggestion for the (cartesian) charts: when leaving the y-axis on "auto" the gui always chooses the max y value as the limit for the chart box. this means that the max y values always merge with the black line of the bounding box of the graph. this is very hard to read esp. when many values are there (as in our digital circuits) (and because blue is the first color automatically used for graphs). here an ascii picture of what i mean: currently: +_________ | / |__/ +--------- suggested: +_________ | _____ | / |__/ +--------- so that when auto-sizing the y-axis there is a small gap between the max y value and the bounding box. a few pixels are enough. perhaps this even applicable to other chart types, i dunno. so what do you think?
