Hello Stefan, I tried to implement a more complete model (for fun only), validation is pending right now. Your model seems to be ok -- I was fooled by the smith chart display of qucs, which does no autoscale... I consider this broken. In the mean time a attended the IMS2009 and talked to the Sonnet people -- they really like the idea of a free simulator and would also help in integrating sonnet into qucs. That's a long way to go, since there is no layout at the moment, but I think the idea is great. They permitted the use of Sonnet Lite to validate the microstrip models in qucs. I'll try to do that. I feel quite enthusiastic having a simulator which does not suffer from the broken microstrip Tee models ADS and aplac use (maybe to be implemented...). I already switched from Ansoft Designer SV to qucs for my simlulation class this term. It worked great. Good work! I'll get back to you if the validation is done.
