I just noticed that I can create a tunnel diode, but not either a zener diode or a varactor diode. These are both used a lot more than tunnel diodes. Maybe someone could look into making these items available in the future versions of Qucs.
You can change the symbol of a diode by changing its Symbol property (the last property); a standard diode, a zener and a varactor all use the same electrical model, of course with different parameter values.
A tunnel diode needs a different electrical mode so it exists as a separate component.
