I have installed QUCS on Windows and Ubuntu Hardy. When I put in an AC source and set it to 1 kHz and connect it to a resistor, add a transient simulation, set it to 5 mS and 101 steps, I get a great sine wave on the Windows installation and I get jagged noise on the Ubuntu installation. I just downloaded 0.0.14 in Ubuntu to see if that would work better but it did not. Have I done something wrong on the Ubuntu installation?
Thanks.

Hello!
I guess, you forgot to add a ground symbol somewhere... Didn't you?
Cheers, Stefan.
No. I have double checked. The circuit is properly grounded. The same circuit works in the windows version and not in the Ubuntu version.
Thanks. Dennis
Thanks to Stephan,
I had the number of points in the transient simulation in Ubuntu set to 11. It works great when I set the number of points to 101.
Thanks for your help!
